1. Service Definition

AirSpeak is an Aviation English education platform. It is designed for pilots, cabin crew, technicians, ground services personnel and aviation students. It provides ICAO Level 4 exam preparation, pronunciation practice and AI-powered conversation exercises.

AirSpeak does not issue official ICAO certificates. The official exam is conducted at SHGM (Turkish Civil Aviation Directorate) authorized centres.

2. Account

• You must be 13+ to register. Parental consent is recommended for users 13–18.
• Account information must be accurate. Fake accounts may be blocked.
• You are responsible for your password. Do not share it. Change it if you suspect compromise.
• One person may have only one active account.

3. Acceptable Use

The following are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, scraping or automated bot use of the service.
• Hate speech, spam, harassment, illegal content in the community area.
• Collecting personal data of other users without permission.
• Copyright infringement — sharing copied content from other sources.
• Falsely claiming ICAO exam certification.
• In case of violation, your account may be suspended or permanently closed.

3.1 User Block & Moderation

• Block: Users may block other users. Blocked users' posts and comments are hidden from the blocker's view (one-way block). Mutual follows are removed automatically.
• Block management: Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users — view list and remove blocks at any time.
• Reports: Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Repeat offenders are permanently banned.
• Zero tolerance for abusive behavior. AirSpeak does not tolerate harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, impersonation, or sharing of illegal content. Such behavior results in immediate account termination.
• Banned words filter: Posts and comments are pre-screened by an automated profanity / hate speech filter. Flagged content is held for moderator review.

4. Subscription (Pro Pilot)

• Pro Pilot subscription is purchased monthly or annually via Apple App Store / Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your Apple/Google account when the purchase is confirmed. Billing is handled by them.
• Auto-renewal: Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, the subscription renews automatically for the same period.
• Cancellation: iOS > Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions / Android Play Store > Profile > Payments and subscriptions. After cancellation Pro features are available until the end of the period.
• Under Turkish Consumer Law art.48, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once digital content has been consumed. Subscription activation counts as content consumption.
• Trial period: new users are offered a 7-day free Pro trial. Subscription begins if you do not cancel before the trial ends.

5. Content & Copyright

AirSpeak lesson content, audio, ICAO phraseology design, brand and logo are our property (ICAO standard phraseology belongs to ICAO). Copying, distributing or selling outside personal use is prohibited.

Content you share in the community area remains your copyright. However, you grant AirSpeak a free, worldwide license to display, distribute and moderate the content on the platform.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". Uninterrupted, error-free operation is not guaranteed. AirSpeak does not guarantee that its content is sufficient preparation for the ICAO Level 4 exam — actual exam performance depends on the user's effort.

AirSpeak is not responsible for the outcomes of exam results, professional decisions or job applications.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time (Settings > Privacy > Delete account permanently — 30-day grace period). We may suspend or delete your account if you violate the rules.

8. Changes

We update these terms from time to time. We will announce significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are resolved in Istanbul courts. For consumer disputes, the relevant Consumer Arbitration Committee / Consumer Court has jurisdiction.
